Description
Cardboard Postal Tubes for Posters, Plans and Rolled Documents
Keep long or rolled documents contained during delivery with our Cardboard Postal Tubes. Their rigid spiral-wound cardboard construction is designed for items that do not sit neatly in conventional envelopes or flat postal packaging.
Each kraft-coated tube is supplied with plastic end caps, making it straightforward to close the ends once the contents are inserted. The cylindrical shape is particularly useful for keeping suitable posters and plans rolled rather than folding them into a smaller package.
Choose from four tube lengths, all 50mm in diameter, with packs of 25 or 50 tubes in each size. Allow approximately 15mm at each end for the supplied caps when measuring the rolled item.
What Can You Use Postal Tubes For?
- Posters, prints and rolled artwork
- Architectural plans, maps and charts
- Certificates and presentation materials that can be rolled
- Long lightweight accessories where the diameter allows
- Commercial print jobs and artwork fulfilment
- Documents being stored or transported rolled
Check that the contents can be rolled safely before choosing a tube. Protect delicate prints with a suitable interleaf or sleeve when needed.

Choosing the Right Postal Tube
Measure the rolled item before placing an order. Allow a little clearance so the contents slide in without being forced, while avoiding a tube that lets the contents move excessively. For artwork and photographs, take particular care over rolling direction and any protective inner wrapping.
Fit the end caps securely and use an appropriately sized address label that remains legible on the curved surface. If the article is too wide for a 50mm tube or must remain flat, consider a board-backed envelope or other flat postal packaging instead.
Handling and Recycling Information
Cardboard and plastic end caps are different materials. Check local disposal arrangements and separate the caps where appropriate rather than assuming the assembled tube is accepted as one item.
