Making a Purchase
Making a purchase with Packaging Products Online couldnâ€™t be easier. Simply browse our site adding items to your shopping basket. Once you have finished simply select “Checkout” and you will be asked to enter your billing and delivery details. You will then be taken you to our secure payment process provided by Sage.
When ordering from Packaging Products Online you must meet the following requirements
- Reside in the UK
- Supply a working telephone number (this enables the courier company to contact you if needed)
For all orders from the UK a 20% VAT charge has been added prior to the product entering your basket. All orders are accompanied with a VAT receipt. Our VAT no. is 354196836.
We accept the following methods of payment: Cash or cheque with order or collection in person, MasterCard, Solo, Switch/UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta, Visa Electron, PayPal. We regret we are unable to despatch goods until they are paid for. By using our secure payment method online you can be assured that the information will be processed safely. We remind customers that it is more secure to make payment online than by telephone. Online credit card transactions are processed by Sage and / or PayPal secure servers. We do not save card details on our own site. If you give us your card details directly they are destroyed once payment has been made.
When you receive your delivery please ensure that you check the quantity of parcels in the total consignment and then sign for the appropriate number received. Please do not sign for missing parcels as this will invalidate any future claims. If you have missing parcels within your consignment please contact us on the same day whenever possible. If you are not able to take delivery of goods the courier will leave a calling card which will advise how to collect your goods or arrange re-delivery. If you fail to act on this, the goods will be returned to us and you will be required to pay a further shipping cost plus an additional £10.00 handling fee before we can send your goods again.
Our range of goods are available from stock, products are very rarely unavailable but we will always advise you accordingly and offer a suitable alternative, a later delivery date or a full refund.
This policy is written for Opalion Plastics Ltd and all its subsidiary companies (Packaging Products Online).
Opalion Plastics Ltd may gather and use certain personal information about individuals during the course of its business operations. Personal information may be used from customers, suppliers, business contacts, employees and other people the organisation has a relationship with or may need to contact.

- RETAINING AND DELETING PERSONAL DATA
Personal data that we process for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary.
We will keep your personal data for the duration that you are a customer with us, keeping this data secure and accurate throughout this time.
Payment details will not be retained. Credit card details are taken for the purpose of the single transaction and are destroyed immediately afterwards.
After you stop being a customer with us we may keep your data for the purpose of responding to any questions or complaints and to demonstrate that we treated you fairly during this time. During this time we will store your data securely, and when we will delete your data we will do this in a secure way.
- PROTECTING INFORMATION
Opalion Plastics Ltd do not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying information to anyone and will only disclose this information for legal reasons and if required by law.
- MARKETING & COMMUNICATION
Opalion Plastics Ltd keep customers up to date with company news, offers, updates or invites. We will ask you first before sending you marketing emails and require you to confirm through opting in if you would like to receive these before we send them. If you do confirm that you would like to receive company news, offers, updates or invites from us you can still change your mind at any time by unsubscribing via the link included within all of our communications.
We are committed to only contacting you where we feel we have a legitimate reason to do so. We will not bombard you with emails or phone calls.
Opalion Plastics Ltd may still send you important administrative messages (these include accounting emails) which you cannot opt out of. We may also send direct emails via third parties, regarding legitimate business interests in order to respond to your enquiries, fulfil your requests and provide you with related customer services whilst managing your account (customers we are working with).
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In addition, we are not responsible for the information collection, use, disclosure or security policies or practices of other organisations, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Apple, Google, Microsoft, RIM or any other developer or social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, including with respect to any Personal Information you disclose to other organisations through or in connection with our Social Media Pages.
We seek to use reasonable organisational, technical and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Information within our organisation. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, then you must contact us immediately.
The transmission of information via the internet or email is not completely secure. Although we will endeavour to protect your information we cannot guarantee security and therefore please note anything transmitted via the internet is at your own risk.
- HOW YOU CAN ACCESS, CHANGE OR WITHDRAW CONSENT
If you would like to request to review, correct, update, suppress or delete Personal Information that you have previously provided to us, you may make this request by email to HR or the Managing Director. You may request to make any changes or delete your data at any time.
Should you send a request, you must ensure that you make clear what Personal Information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Information suppressed from our database or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Information. For your protection, we will only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. As mentioned should you wish to opt out of our emails at any time please click the unsubscribe link at the footer of the email and your email address will be removed. Please note this may take up to 48 hours to process.
Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed unless asked to do so.

- SERVICES BY MINORS
The services that we provide are not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under sixteen (16). We do not offer work experience, placement in our offices or employment to anyone under the age of sixteen, thereby no longer having a need to keep data of minors.

Goods sold on this website are supplied in good faith. If, however, you order the wrong item, are not completely satisfied with the items you receive or simply want to return your goods, you must arrange for them to be returned to us, and providing they are received by us in good condition, we will refund the cost of the goods in full less the carriage costs incurred by us. If any goods are faulty or damaged when you receive them, we will arrange for them to be replaced or refunded but you must notify us within 14 days of receiving delivery otherwise no claim will be entertained. Delivery charges for damaged or faulty goods or errors made by us will be fully refunded and/or not charged. Your statutory rights remain unaffected and your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at following this link.
